A slightly sweet, triangle-shaped fried doughnut, often infused with cardamom. A perfect breakfast or snack with tea.

Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/4 cup coconut milk (or regular milk)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3/4 cup warm water
- Vegetable oil for deep frying

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and cardamom.

In a separate bowl, mix the coconut milk, beaten egg, and warm water.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix to form a soft dough. Knead on a floured surface for 5-10 minutes until smooth.

Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into triangles or desired shapes.

Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Carefully place a few pieces of dough into the hot oil.

Fry for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and puffed up. Drain on paper towels.
